Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Job Description
The HCA is a Home Health Aid/Certified Nursing Assistant who has completed 40 or more hours of training through a vocational school or certified by the State of Florida. Tact, good judgment in dealing with those who are ill. Neat in appearance. Ability to read, write and communicate verbally. Must be able to take patient's temperature, pulse and respiration. Must be able to give a sink side bath, shower or bed bath Be able to assist patient with wheelchair, walker or cane. Light housekeeping. Qualification: HHA/CNA certification (Private duty cases) 75 hours HHA training for Medicare bath visits. Level 2 background screening Must Pass competency testing.
