Quaboag Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center is a 147 bed nursing center, located in beautiful downtown West Brookfield. We are currently looking for a few strong CNAs to join our team. We are hiring for all shifts: 7am- 3pm 3pm-11pm 11pm-7am We are flexible with scheduling! If you are a caring person looking to join a strong team, we are the team you want. Certified Nursing Assistant responsibilities Adhere to professional standards, follow policies and procedures and abide by federal, state and local requirements, as well as Joint Commission standards Assist the nurses and other staff as needed Assist with daily living activities. This includes delivering meals to patients, turning and ambulating patients and providing plenty of fresh water, as well as extra nourishment between meals Help patients with personal hygiene. Provide patients with bedpans, help with baths, shampoos and showers Certified Nursing Assistant skills Completion of a state-approved CNA certification training course Ability to work as part of a team and to handle multiple tasks safely and effectively High tolerance for working under pressure and handling critical situations with a cool head Good communication skills, including the ability to communicate sensitive information with empathy ("bedside manner") What makes Quaboag different?
