Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Job Description
As a Certified Home Health Aide, your average day will look a bit different than a traditional CNA working on the hospital floor. Preferably with Home Health experience, excellent skills in patient care, compassionate, efficient time management techniques, maintains positive and respectful demeanor, able to maintain strict confidentiality, skilled in assessing and reporting in an accurate, concise and professional manner; educates patients and significant others; open to training and education; good communication skills; establishes and maintains positive interpersonal relations with internal and external clients; works well with the team. Pay is per visit. Each visit is approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour. • Workplace Independence • Competitive Pay • Lower Stress Environment • Develop Meaningful Patient-Nurse Relationship Requirements • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. • ACTIVE *Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) License Required.* • BLS and Liability insurance is a requirement. • Driver License, auto insurance and reliable transportation is a requirement. • English speaking (Required). • Armenian speaking (Preferred). • Spanish speaking (Preferred). • Pay is per Visit and DOE. COVID-19 precautions • Personal protective equipment provided or required • Temperature screenings • Sanitizing, disinfecting, or cleaning procedures in place Licenses NOT qualified: Home Care Aide (HCA) , Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) unless CHHA certified.
