Registered Nurse (RN) Job Description
1) Coordinate and oversees all direct and indirect patient services provided by clinical organization personnel. 2) Provides guidance and counseling to coordinators and Clinical Supervisors /Nursing Supervisors to assist them in continually improving all aspects of Home Health Care services , provided through organization personnel. 3) Assists Clinical Supervisors /Nursing Supervisors in managing clinical teams and planning 4) Provides help in assessment , planning, implementation and evaluation of patient and family/caregiver care in all clinical personnel as indicated 5) Assists the Executive Director/Administrator in the preparation and administration of the organization budget. 6) Interprets operational indicators to detect census changes and increases or decreases volume, which could impact staffing levels, revenue or expenses. 7) Evaluate performance of Clinical Supervisor/Nursing supervisors 8) Assists Clinical Supervisor /Nursing Supervisor to develop skills and techniques in evaluating the performance of clinicians. 9) Hires, evaluates , and terminates organizational personnel 10) Conducts clinician performance evaluation annually, or more frequently if indicated 11) Oversees the maintenance of patient clinical records , statistics, reports and records for purpose of evaluation and reporting organizational activities 12) Assures proper maintenance of clinical records in compliance with local , state and federal laws. 13) in the absence of the Executive Director/Administrator , the clinical Director will become acting executive Director/Administrator and will be vested with authority to act in behalf of the Executive Director /Administrator. 14) If functioning as Clinical Manager , would provide oversight of all patient care services and personal including making patient and personnel assignments , coordinating patient care, coordinating referrals ; assuring patient needs are continually assessed ; and assuring the development , implementation , and updates of the individual plan of care . 15) Other duties as assigned by the Executive Director/Administrator
