Home Instead provides a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion Duties include, but are not limited to Companionship Light housekeeping Meal Preparation Medication reminders Errands Assistance to & from appointments Activities of Daily Living such as dressing, grooming, bathing, feeding, incontinence care, and transferring Specialized care such as Alzheimer’s and Dementia Care Requirements to be a caregiver: Ability to treat and care for seniors and special needs clients with dignity and respect Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and professional manner If you drive, you must possess a valid driver's license and valid auto insurance. Successfully complete the State of California Department of Social Services Home Care Aide Registry requirements, DMV check, and drug screen. We have multiple shifts available!
