Some qualifications for our Windsor Health Center RNs and LPNs: • Must have valid Florida RN / LPN license or Compact License in good-standing and BLS certification • Must embrace our giving culture where our Residents and teammates are valued • Must have the ability to understand and communicate varied clinical communication and reporting, and perform all assigned responsibilities per policy and as instructed within the scope of your RN / LPN License • Have confidence knowing your skills and work ethic are appreciated by your team and the Residents you serve • Ability to build rapport with patients • Compassionate and caring demeanor • NEWLY licensed RNs and LPNs welcome to apply! • We are seeking an RN for our Skilled Nursing Facility to join our team! You will work alongside fellow caregivers to provide high quality patient care. Responsibilities: • Provide patient care under direction of the DON and Physicians • Assess, diagnosis, and treatment of assigned patients • Administer prescribed medications to patients if assigned as a cart nurse • Perform varied desk nurse responsibilities if assigned to the desk • Perform treatments as ordered • Provide companionship and basic care to patients • Maintain a clean and healthy environment • Diagnose and establish patient treatment plans • Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior • Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care • Educate patients about health maintenance and disease prevention • Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities • Maintain accurate patient medical records • Provide advice and emotional support to patients and their family members • Qualifications: • Ability to build rapport with patients • Compassionate and caring demeanor • Familiarity with medical terminology • Ability to work well in teams • Ability to build rapport with patients • Problem solving and critical thinking skills Job Type: Full-time
