LVN/RN, Charge Nurse

Looking for LVN/RN charge nurse for Day and Evening Shift Candidate needs to have the following: 1) Active Texas license 2) Atleast 3 years experience working in Long term Care facility (nursing home) 3) Ability to establish effective relationships with residents, family members, and staff 4) Strong documentation skills, on paper and computer. 5) Ability to represent the facility in a positive and professional manner Job Duties/Summary: As CHARGE NURSE you will be responsible for Managing your wing that holds 35 residents, leading and directing the care provided by caregivers and medication technicians on your shift. You will also monitor the daily care of all the residents. You will be reporting to our Director of Nurses. You will be responsible for maintaining orderly medication cart, medication room, and accurate medication administration records (Sets up, dispenses, and documents all resident medications).
