Registered Nurse (RN) Job Description
Review all 90L’s annually and inform staff of any changes. Evaluate the skill level and ability of the unlicensed staff. Perform medication training to staff as well as train staff on finger sticks and blood pressure procedures. Submitting quarterly reports for the Group home and nursing notes for SIL participants. Review and sign MAR’s monthly. To ensure weekly that MAR’s are signed by staff daily. Monitor and count all controlled medication for the person served. Review Doctor’s order. Visit person served, after hospital discharge as soon as possible (no more than a week later). Be available for State Auditors, Supervisors and Staff to answer any question as it relates to the person served.
