Honestly , if I can give it negative stars I would! Please do not send your loved ones here . The staff only care about a paycheck and that’s it they treat the residents very poorly ! The place itself is very old and dirty they have roaches mice and bed bugs ! the elevators are always out of order it smells like urine! I was trying to get the 4th floor nurse attention to let her know there was a spill on the floor she didn’t even realize I was speaking to her because she was to busy on her phone rather than doing her job and pay attention to the residents

Had a roach crawl across my bedroom floor my first night here, other than that the staff is absolutely wonderful! Everyone from the top to the bottom have been so welcoming when I first arrived, I've been here almost 2 weeks. Now, it is considered a psych facility which I didn't know before coming here, but then again all Illinois nursing homes are since they closed down all the state run hospitals, what a damn shame! The food shocked me how good it is too.

I highly recommend this location. They offer exceptional food, professional staffing, and exceptional care for residents. Additionally, their administrator is highly dedicated and will go above and beyond to ensure the well-being of their residents.

As a resident here I had high hopes. And at first they were "mostly" met. But as time progressed things got significantly worse. And in return I have made irresponsible decisions affecting my own health that I'm repeatedly shamed for by staff "mainly social services". But they fail to realize any of their shortcomings. For one I need a birth certificate, it's been 4 months and nobody's even put in the application to help me get it. For two, I took it on my own volition to get a social security card and all I needed was a ride to the office, I had a 5-day time limit which they were well aware of and failed entirely. For three they sent me the hospital on Thanksgiving. Now since I got back from the hospital the last time they have completely lost all of my clothes. I wear prescription glasses and they threw those away while I was in the hospital solely because they were broken but I still needed the lenses. A minimum of 75% of the staff reek like weed when they clock in or when they come back from break, basically getting paid to be high at work. And now as a diabetic with pancreatitis, depression, anxiety, and insomnia, they're refusing me my medications. If they did a random UA drop on every staff member here this place would have zero staff. But hey if the staff see this please keep reminding me of my shortcomings.

Had a loved one here for couple of days heard bad things. Employees arguing and fighting sounds like they throwing things. They laugh at people staying there when they can't walk or clean themselves they dont clean patients right when they had an accident or cant even get themselves up to use the bathroom.Very ghetto and unprofessional. They don't have nothing in the rooms like soap or paper towels in the bathroom how do u expect for their patients to wash their hands after they are done using the bathroom? They are rude and careless. The place is in Very bad condition everything is old and not what u expect like in the pictures very unwelcoming place do your research before choosing a rehab or nursing home place.
