Job Summary
At Edell Home Care LLC, we believe compassionate care begins with compassionate caregivers. We are seeking caring, dependable, and professional Part-Time (PT) and PRN Caregivers to provide non-medical home care services that promote safety, dignity, comfort, and independence for our clients.
As a caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for seniors and adults who wish to remain safely in their homes. If you have a passion for helping others and making a meaningful impact in your community, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
The caregiver will provide non-medical assistance and companionship services, including:
Companion Care
Provide companionship and social engagement
Encourage participation in hobbies and activities
Offer emotional support and meaningful conversation
Accompany clients on walks and community outings
Homemaker Services
Light housekeeping and home organization
Laundry and linen changes
Meal planning and meal preparation
Grocery shopping and essential errands
Safety & Wellness Support
Observe and report changes in client condition
Encourage hydration and proper nutrition
Promote a safe home environment
Provide reminders for appointments and daily routines
Client Support
Assist with maintaining independence
Provide standby supervision as needed
Follow individualized care plans
Maintain accurate documentation and communication
Qualifications
Required
High school diploma or GED
Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
Ability to pass a Level 2 Background Screening
Current CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Compassionate, dependable, and professional demeanor
Preferred
Experience as a caregiver, home health aide, companion, CNA, PCA, or related role
Experience working with seniors or individuals with dementia
Knowledge of client-centered care practices
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds
Ability to perform household tasks and assist with client activities
Ability to travel to client homes within assigned service areas
