Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 1. Hands-on assistance to address unmet needs with qualifying ADLs; bathing/showering, dressing and undressing, mouth care, skin care, hair care, nail care.* 2. Assists with continence needs.* 3. Assistance with break up and removal of fecal impaction; 4. Assistance with wound irrigation; 5. Assistance with fluid-assistive activities; 6. Assistance with self- administration of medication; 7. Assistance with nutrition activities; 8. Assistance with adaptive or assistive devices when directly linked to qualifying ADLs; 9. Assistance with the use of durable medical equipment when directly linked to qualifying ADLs; 10. Daily documentation of services provided is accurate and complete; date of service, aide providing services, all deviations from the plan of care: care tasks not performed and reasons tasks were not performed. 11. Be Present and participate in quarterly supervisory visits conducted by Service Supervisor, RN Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
