Job Summary:
As a Home Care Aide/Caregiver, you will be responsible for providing compassionate and personalized care to individuals in their homes. Your primary duty is to assist clients with daily activities, personal care, and ensure their comfort and safety.
Responsibilities:
Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
Help with mobility assistance, including transferring, positioning, and ambulation.
Prepare meals and assist with feeding, adhering to any special dietary requirements.
Perform light housekeeping duties, such as tidying up living spaces, laundry, and maintaining cleanliness.
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging in meaningful conversations and activities.
Administer medication reminders as per client's medication schedule.
Accompany clients to appointments, outings, and recreational activities as needed.
Monitor and report any changes in clients' health or behavior to the appropriate supervisor or family members.
Maintain accurate records of care provided and activities performed.
Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
