We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Pediatric Nurse (RN or LPN) to provide in-home care for a 4-year-old child. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting children with complex needs and be comfortable assisting with daily routines in a nurturing and patient manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance with all activities of daily living (ADLs), including feeding, dressing, hygiene, and mobility.
- Support ongoing potty training and encourage independence where appropriate.
- Administer and manage tube feedings (child is primarily tube-fed, approximately 90% of nutrition).
- Monitor overall health and well-being, recognizing changes in condition and reporting as appropriate.
- Collaborate with family and healthcare providers to ensure consistency and quality of care.
- Encourage communication, play, and developmental growth appropriate for age.
Qualifications:
- Current RN or LPN license,
- Experience in pediatric care, preferably with children who require assistance with ADLs and feeding support.
- Ability to handle sensitive medical equipment (tube feeding) safely and efficiently.
- Strong communication, empathy, and patience when working with children and families.
- CPR and pediatric first aid certification preferred.
