North Central Care is currently hiring a Registered Nurse for 8 hour & 12 hour shifts, $10,000 sign on bonus North Central Care and Rehabilitation is a family owned skilled nursing facility located in Spokane WA. We provide a long term home, & short term rehabilitation stay, for up to 99 residents. Our goal is to enhance our residents’ quality of life and create a positive environment for our employees. As part of the North Central Care Nursing and Rehab team, you provide each of your assigned residents with excellent nursing care and services in accordance with the resident's care plan & best nursing practice. Benefits Competitive Pay PTO & 9 recognized holidays Medical, Dental, Vision & Life Insurance Voluntary Aflac Benefits $10,000 sign on bonus Responsibilities Under the supervision of the Nurse Unit Manager, the Licensed Nurse assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of residents/patients for the duration of their respective shift. Nursing care is provided through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the plan of care. Assures quality of care by adhering to therapeutic standards; assessing health outcomes against patient care goals and regulatory standards Maintains continuity among the nursing teams/shifts by documenting and communicating actions, changes, and ongoing issues. Ensures assigned work area (i.e. nurse station, med. Cart, medication room, etc.), resident/patient care rooms and treatment areas are maintained in a sanitary manner. Monitors medication supply and re-orders from pharmacy as needed. Keeps medication room and medication cart clean and orderly. Establishes a compassionate environment by communicating with resident family members and representatives. Complies with laws, regulations, and nursing practice acts in accordance with North Central Care Center policies. Treats all residents, visitors, and staff with courtesy. Follows HIPAA regulations by keeping all patient information confidential. Completes all nursing duties as assigned by the DON or Nurse Unit Manager.
