Caregiver Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Caregiver to provide essential support to individuals in need of care. The ideal candidate will have experience in long-term care and/or caregiving, with a strong commitment to upholding resident rights and ensuring the well-being of those they assist. Key Responsibilities: -Assist individuals with daily activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration and/or reminders. -Provide emotional support and companionship to clients. -Ensure a safe and clean environment for clients. -Help with heavy lifting and mobility assistance as needed. -Coordinate appointments and communicate effectively with healthcare professionals. -Work with individuals with developmental disabilities in a caring and respectful manner. Experience and Qualifications: -Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required. -Strong communication skills and empathy towards those in need. -Understanding of working with people with developmental disabilities. -Previous experience in long-term care or caregiving is preferred but not required. -Willingness to learn and adapt to the needs of clients. Part-Time and Full-Time positions Available (all positions include an every other weekend rotation) Wage: $15.50-$18.50/hour Requirements: Completion of Caregiver Background Check, Pre-Employment Drug Screen, Must be at least 18 years of Age, a Valid Driver License is preferred. Benefits offered for Full-time and Part-Time employees Job Type: Part-time Pay: $15.50 - $18.50 per hour Expected hours: 8 – 40 per week
