Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Job Description

We are seeking a self-motivated, passionate, and caring employee to join our family. We have new wage rates with Special wage rates for PRN positions. Purpose of Certified Nursing Assistant Position: The primary purpose of your job position is to provide each of your assigned residents with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the resident's assessment and care plan, and as may be directed by your supervisors. PRN position works at least (1) one 12-hour shift per pay period , including every 6th weekend with a $3.00/hour weekend shift differential pay. A maximum of (24) hours each week. Day shift is from 6:30 am - 7:00 pm. Night shift is from 6:30 pm - 7:00 am, with a $1.50/hour night shift differential pay. Duties: Assisting patients with daily personal hygiene activities, (bathing, mouth care, dressing/undressing, hair and nail care); Assisting with turning, lifting, positioning and transporting residents into and out of beds, chairs, spa tub, wheelchairs, and lifts; Answering call lights promptly; Effective communication with the patient and all members of the team. Requirements: Valid IN CNA certification Out of state CNA’s will have 120 days to become certified in IN.
