Registered Nurse (RN) Job Description
Together Homecare is looking for Private Duty Registered Nurses, in a full-time, part-time, and PRN capacity! We have multiple schedules available 7 days per week, and we work to find a great client or clients to fit that schedule. In a 1 on 1 care setting, with usually only 1-2 clients per week! We cover the entire southwest corner of Indiana, and would love to pair you up with a family in need in our communities close to you! Shifts Available: · We are offering multiple shifts; Full time, Part-time, and PRN are available! · Shift times vary based on client needs, but fall between the hours of 7am-7pm · Weekend work is available, BUT NOT REQUIRED! · We work with YOU to find a schedule that fits YOUR needs! Responsibilities: · Monitor your patient’s health and maintain up to date records of the patient’s condition · Adjust patient care plan as needed, and communicate patient progress as needed · Aide with prescribed exercises with the patient · Routine basic care: administering medication, dressing and bandage wounds, check patient’s pulse, temperature, and oxygen levels · Help the patient with transfers in their homes! · Assist with personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating · Engage and interact with your patient, interact with them via conversation, games, and other entertainment formats! · Provide essential services for elderly clients, or clients who are disabled Requirements: Previous experience in nursing or other medical fields is preferred Familiarity with medical software and equipment Good verbal, written, and interpersonal skills Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills Negative TB Test within the last 12 months or Chest X-Ray Physical within the last 6 months CPR Certification Driver's License or State ID
