About the Role:
Assisting Families Homecare is urgently hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to oversee and support care delivery for clients across the Charlotte area. The RN will be responsible for assessments, supervisory visits, and competency check-offs, ensuring our clients receive safe, high-quality, and compliant care. This role is ideal for a nurse who enjoys flexible hours, fieldwork, and collaborative team support.
Key Responsibilities:
Complete initial in-home client assessments and create individualized care plans
Perform quarterly supervisory visits, annual reassessments, and hospital discharge follow-ups
Conduct competency training and caregiver check-offs in clients’ homes to ensure safe and accurate care delivery
Maintain and track client schedules for upcoming supervisory visits and required assessments
Accurately document all findings and updates in the ERSP system
Report updates and findings to the Director and Office Manager, who will communicate with case workers as needed
Collaborate with caregivers to improve client outcomes and ensure compliance with agency and state regulations
Travel to client homes as required (mileage reimbursement provided for trips over 10 miles)
Qualifications:
Active RN license in the state of North Carolina (required)
1+ years of experience in home care, hospice, or related field (preferred)
Knowledge of or willingness to learn ERSP or similar electronic documentation systems
Strong assessment, documentation, communication, and organizational skills
Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
Professional, dependable, and passionate about community care
