My experience at first glance was great. The facility is undergoing a lot of nice up grades! They still have more to go but they have it looking good on the first and second floors. Hopefully the momentum will keep going and the whole building with be fresh and nice. But all the staff was great! They gave us a nice welcome in the hall that make you feel special! First time for that! But all in all my experience was great!

To begin, the staff is good and seems to be very attentive to the residents. I've never had any issues with anyone there. Usually, things are pretty tidy; however my negative review was from my last two visits in which there was very strong bodily fluid and feces smell from the time I walked past the front door all the way to the 3rd floor. It was very bad. However, during my visit today it was better. I know there are a lot of people to clean up behind, but a clean and good smelling living facility is a plus to tenants and visitors alike.

The new Social wkr and Rn Mgr along with the other team that was included in the services today was amazing. They all listened intently to my concerns, implementing a plan for my love one. Even though it is a step by step process, consistency is the key. I have high hopes the plan will be successful, specifically if each of us do their share to make it happen. (By the way that means my love one too ❤️)

We have found that Regency Villa Taylor to be a safe, clean, warm, kind, caring residence for our family member who is a health care professional herself. One does not think that a relative could need almost total care for daily living activities of movement, bathing, medications. When this situation arose and our relative could no longer live in her home, especially the Head Nurse and staff at the Third Floor of Regency Villa Taylor have enabled our family to see that our loved one receives the physical, environmental, and personal interactions that she requires. We appreciate the ongoing, challenging work that is needed in the nursing home environment. And we appreciate the staff responding to our family's input and care regarding our loved one and other residents at their facility. Our ongoing Regards & Respect to Regency Villa Taylor. (note also that this review is written by the resident's RN relative who continues to work in health care and so knows the ongoing physical and psychological requirements of work in the profession)
